What is A Slit Lamp？
A slit lamp microscope is a precision microscope used in ophthalmic examinations. It projects a narrow, adjustable beam of light onto the eye while simultaneously magnifying the eye’s structures for examination. The slit lamp consists of three parts: an optical system, a microscope system, and a desktop support. It provides ophthalmologists with professional examination capabilities.
Full Eye Examinations
Our slit lamps can examine not only the structures of the anterior segment, such as the cornea, iris, conjunctiva, anterior chamber, and lens, but also, when used with aspherical lenses, the fundus structures, such as the retina and optic nerve, can be observed. Therefore, eye examinations can detect and prevent eye diseases such as dry eye, keratitis, cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy.

Maxter slit lamps feature a completely new optical path design, with optional Halogen and LED lighting sources. Select the slit lamp with the appropriate light source to suit your needs, which features a built-in backlight design.
Microscope System
The binocular microscope provides magnification for slit lamps, offering two types of magnification: turning and drum rotating. The turning type is used for our 2x and 3x slit lamp microscopes, while the drum type is used for our 5x slit lamp microscopes.
